ANTCON 2026 – A Bigger, Brighter, Community-Powered Celebration

What started as a wild idea quickly became the UK’s most vibrant and inclusive event for antkeepers. ANTCON was created to give something back to the community we love, offering a unique space for ant enthusiasts of all ages to gather, share knowledge, and celebrate the hobby we care so deeply about.

​

From its humble beginnings inside our Carmarthen store, ANTCON has grown into a beloved annual tradition. Part open day, part social gathering, and part hands-on experience, we’ve welcomed guests from across the UK and beyond. Over the years we’ve invited creators, exhibitors, and businesses you know and love, building a home that brings the entire hobby together.

In 2025, ANTCON began a new chapter under the Ant Antics Foundation. This shift marked a deeper purpose, turning the event into a not-for-profit mission where every attendee directly contributes to conservation, education, and protecting the future of UK ants.

2026 continues that mission – but even bigger.

​

Next year we are introducing brand new ticket tiers, opening the doors for more people than ever to join us. We’re welcoming OnlyPods, bringing a fantastic range of isopods and live demonstrations, with some of their proceeds supporting the Foundation. We also have The Reptile Residence joining us, offering another exciting dimension to the day and donating a portion of their proceeds toward our conservation work.

Alongside our exhibitors, ANTCON 2026 will feature a full line-up of speakers, workshops, hands-on sessions, fun and games, and of course the warm, community-driven atmosphere that makes ANTCON what it is.
