What started as a wild idea quickly became the UK’s most vibrant and inclusive event for antkeepers. ANTCON was created to give something back to the community we love, offering a unique space for ant enthusiasts of all ages to gather, share knowledge, and celebrate the hobby we all care so deeply about.

From its humble beginnings inside our Carmarthen store, ANTCON has grown into a beloved annual tradition. Part open day, part social gathering, and part hands-on experience, we have welcomed guests from across the UK and beyond. We have invited creators you know and love, and in 2022, 2023 and 2024 were proudly joined by Wakooshi, giving attendees the chance to browse nests and equipment in person.

In 2025, ANTCON begins a new chapter under the Ant Antics Foundation (CIC). This marks a meaningful shift in focus. The event will still be full of fun and rooted in community, but now driven by a not-for-profit mission. Proceeds from this year’s event will go directly toward conservation work, free school colonies, and public education about the importance of ants in our ecosystems.
